See What You See
…then see some more.
What I Do
PHOTOGRAPHY
First camera I held was a Kodak Brownie. The year was 1958.
EDUCATION
I dropped out of high school because I was too smart to see my future.
VISION
I love when people see the same old stuff with new eyes.
People
Partners. Strangers. Parties.
Place
Every day we travel is a day for discovery…
Creatures
Best partner to looking is seeing…
BRING YOUR VISION TO LIGHT
We live in a remarkable world. Let’s celebrate.
I am a professional photographer who captures a moment in time…
I make images that communicate a story. I am not the guy to pose people, just so, for a shot. I think people and places are more interesting when they are themselves
I grew up with photography. My mother was a photographer and grabbed me to be her backup capturing the San Francisco Hells Angels (1967), the Oakland Black Panthers (1968), the first student strike at San Francisco State, anti-war marches… She made me a better storyteller. When you think you are close enough, get closer.
